23 metres of rising damp, treated in three days

A full ground-floor rising damp treatment. Contaminated plaster was hacked off back to sound brickwork, a chemical damp proof course injected into the mortar bed, and a meshed damp proof membrane fixed across the treated walls ready for replastering.

A 4-metre rising damp treatment and a re-skim over artex

A smaller rising damp job in a hallway and stairwell. The affected section was treated at the source, then the surrounding walls were re-skimmed straight over the existing artex to leave a flat, smooth finish ready to decorate.

Commercial · Housing Provider

Damp works across HMO properties

We also work for landlords, letting agents and housing providers, treating damp at its source, replastering and photographing every stage for their records. That job, and how we work with portfolios, is on our commercial page.

Questions about our work

Are these your own photos?

Yes. Every job photo on this page was taken on site by our team as the work went on. We do not use stock photos of other people’s work.

Can I see a job like mine before I commit?

Ask when we survey. We photograph most jobs as they progress, so we can usually show you photos of something similar to the work your wall needs.

Do you photograph every job?

We photograph jobs as they go, and for landlords and housing providers we supply written findings with dated photographs as a record of what was found and what was done.

How long do jobs like these take?

The 23-metre ground floor above took three days on site. Smaller jobs take less. We give you a timescale when we survey, so you know what to expect before we start.

Do you tidy up afterwards?

Yes. Floors and furniture are covered before we start and the room is cleaned before we leave. Several of our reviews mention it.
